Meet Madeline

Sometimes writing as Scarlett Ash, Madeline Warthan is an author of beautiful nightmares who lives in Texas with her husband and puppy, though her soul belongs in a Renaissance painting.

She believes the most beautiful stories are found in the shadows—or, in her case, her laptop, where she weaves her experiences with OCD and chronic pain into tales of messy immortals and dark yearning.
